Contains what appears to be newsletters distributed to LDS servicemen's groups in Europe, complete with doctrinal essays, updates on LDS soldiers, words of encouragement, and excerpts from soldiers' letters expressing gratitude for the Gospel and its blessings. Discusses the availability and access of LDS materiel to the typical LDS soldier. Includes an account of Walker's efforts with the LDS Church and the European Theater Command to procure copies of Mormon Tabernacle Choir recordings for the soldiers. Also includes a brief history of the LDS branch established in Oran, Africa, complete with descriptions of the chapel, leadership, frequency of meetings, and the joy found in such church services. Photographs show improvised sacrament trays made from surplus military materiel.
